Why doesn't my profile pic come up in threads?

Profile Picture is different from Avatar.

In the top right go to "User CP".

On that page in the left-hand column under "Settings & Options" you will see "Edit Avatar"

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 140 by 140 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
