I cant for the life of me see any messages ive sent to other users. I have 170 messages of 500 so the inbox isn't full .Ive looked through a bunch of past pms and cant find where ive replied on most of them .Where can i find sent pms?Thank you
Go to your private messages. Then click on the box in the middle where it says "inbox" and you will get a drop down menu. Click on "sent" and you should see all of your sent PM'S.
I know I’ve had dozens of replies to messages sent to me ,but I can only see what the person wrote to me . I can’t see what I wrote back . Sometimes the messenger will confirm he got my message and that helps .
Yes so when I click on that drop down for messages sent it only shows 2 sent . Are the replies to message different than the sent messages?
What are the dates of the two PM messages in your Sent Items? I'm going to hedge a bet here, you deleted Sent Items messages just prior to the date(s) of those two PM messages in your Sent Items. You most likely deleted them by accident.

Go to your Control Panel. On LH side under Settings & Options, click "Edit Options", then under the window pane for "Messages & Notification" in the "Private Messaging" window pane....is Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder selected with a check mark?

That box was not checked so I checked it let’s see what happens
Jeff - If that box was 'not' checked, you will not have retained any copies of PM messages you sent. Somehow you disabled that box in the past as the 'default' behavior is that box is enabled (checked).
Just FWIW, I just finished a long thread of sent/replied to me messages from someone. I always clicked reply to his most recent "sent" message and he did so as well on his end. We ended up with a string of boxes within boxes so long that the wording in the first few messages was in an up/down linear manner on the right side of the margin. Weird but all that stuff has to be justified someplace I guess.

This is why I generally remove (delete) previous PM content from PM messages from the same sender. Too many quoted replies (retention) of previous PM messages ends up crowding page messages & pages can handle only so many characters until they have to truncate as the result of having to be contained w/in the fixed fields of the page margins.
