Post pic to PM?

When I post a pic to a thread, I go advanced, use the paperclip option then select the pic from my files. On a PM, there is no paperclip, and selecting insert image requires a URL? So how do I post a pic from my computer to a PM?

AS far as I know, you'll need an external image host like photobucket. Once the image is uploaded to PB, you click in the IMG box to copy the code. Back in CO, click the insert image icon, yellow with a mountain and moon, and paste the code into that dialog box and click okay.
Kind of a pain but it's the only way I know. Good luck.

^^^ Exactly right. This is the same PITA as exists in the Social Group threads. Lack of vision on site design/use.

Use imgur.com. Super easy, super fast, no log in accounts need. In my opinion, the best image hosting site for sharing pictures quickly.

So no chance of this being changed? I'm trying to cut back what I put in cyber-space.

You'd have to petition Internet Brands by submitting your request to Paul (Omicron) who is the site administrator. I have my doubts anything will change though because some things are beyond his control too.

I don't think there have been many requests to change it.

Has Paul been away Eric? That issue with new posts I asked about and sent him a PM last year has still gone unanswered.

Hope it's not a health issue. He's usually really good about getting back with a reply.

All good fellas, just insanely busy with my companies in a GOOD way.

Sorry Patrick (user m371961), it's a good question, but this isn't something we can change. The software doesn't have the capability to attach images to PMs. I think it was designed that way for security reasons. Using a 3rd party hosting site (like imgur, photobucket, etc) is the only way you can include pics in PMs.
