Question, who is Forum Alert?
I had a post moved, and I can’t find out why, and “Forum Alert” doesn’t accept PM’s..

 

Forum Alert is an automated alert (PM) generated when a moderator deletes a post/thread, and/or moves a post or thread. You're most likely seeing a Forum Alert from this morning perhaps? Note you created an identical thread/post for which there already existed the same/identical post. If a moderator moved your post into another (similar or different) thread, you probably received a simple Forum Alert indicating your post or thread was moved &/or deleted.

 

Example such as this morning. If I click on the previous post you made this morning and the post is no longer there (because it doesn't exist because it moved by a moderator/administrator), the resultant message I receive is a Forum Alert - e.g. your post doesn't exist (simply because it was moved). Capeesh?

 

It’s a notification that an action was taken with a post or thread.

 

You created this thread/post on March 31, 2024. This morning you created an identical thread of the exact same type as your thread/post on March 31, 2024. I notified you w/ something to the effect of did you mean to post this in the other thread. Look at the very last post in your original thread (below). You'll note Eric moved your thread from this morning into the March 31, 2024 thread.
