A different Scammer Approach

I posted in the "parts wanted" forum. I received a text message from yooom5046@gmail.com which looked phishy as hell. I was curious as to how the sender obtained my cell # but then figured out that a simple search of my past posts revealed my cell number.

They come at us from all different directions hoping to find a sucker. Buyer BEWARE!

Here are all the text messages that followed. I had to mess with him a little bit!

Thanks for posting this info. The other day there were almost 48000 people on this site, most were not members. What do you think a lot of them were after, member information. You need to protect yourself and not use emails as user names or post contact info in the open forums. This was a subtle case of red flags leading one to believe its a scam, other are not.
