Is always logged in here but last weeks i have seen that "cloudflare" do a check before the
CO site comes up. This must be something new ??

 

Glenn - This site does use Cloudflare. I have not received a Cloudflare login prompt - yet. Was it a Cloudflare (Turnstile) CAPTCHA login prompt? Thanks for sharing feedback.

 

Periodically the site asks members to change their password? Is that what happened?

I've never encountered that check but doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I do know that there has been a lot of bot activity on this site in the past year with one time having 38000 the same night. There have been other instances of older inactive member profiles being hacked and used for scamming or spamming. While a small inconvenience, at least the site is trying to be proactive to prevent these occurrences.

 

That’s a Cloudflare Turnstile login challenge. IB is likely implementing login challenges employing select configuration criteria for which I have absolutely no further knowledge since configuration parameters/rules are solely established by IB (and Cloudflare). As mentioned, I personally have yet to be challenged.
