How do I stay logged on longer ?
I was just typing a huge parts for sale list for 10 minutes and went to save changes to the post and I got logged out while I was typing. ARRG , I type like a turtle.

A couple things...
It sounds like you did not check the "remember me" box when you logged in before.
When you got logged out, all you had to do was log in again and your post would have been posted. (I hope you did this!)

When I plan to post a long post, I type it in word or wordpad and save often, then copy and paste to the forum. Why?? I type like a turtle also....

It took me five minutes to type this sentence.
I hate when that happens too.
Highlight the text then right click on it and copy then you have it saved and can paste it back in if it does that.
I never tried the remember me thing? Nobody ever remembers me so I figured what's the use.

I do this, too (often) - forgot to mention it! Doing a backspace over a smiley will get your post dumped in a heartbeat. I learned.

BTW, welcome to CO!

You also need to make sure Cookies aren't blocked in the security settings of your webbrowser.

Another important point.
Clearing the cookies during a CO session will log you out also.
Now I'm hungry for some choco-chip cookies!

I did not see the remember me tab ? and forget about pasting , word pad , copying , I will be here forever trying to figure that out. I have a 22 year old daughter that goes nuts when she watches me type , and when I keep refreshing a site when it wont load fast enough . I hate computers . My 6 year old son is better at this than me . Sometimes I hit all the keys on my keyboard at the same time to see what will happen , Could be an anger management problem. Hey I just figured out how to add the face things !! So Cool !!!!!!!!

If you step on the keyboard, the computer can make some nasty noises...
