it is a gold premier. we got it in 2006 with 90,000 miles. when we got it i knew that the intake gasket was seeping a little so i changed that right away before the dreaded blow out of the gasket. let me tell you, that is a tuff job and i do not recommend it if you don't have much experience. it did give me an excuse to buy that snap on tech wrench i was wanting. then the transmission was getting weak and had that rebuilt. we found out that the original owner pulled a boat with it all the time. after the transmission we have had no trouble and love it. it is the best vacation vehicle i ever had also.

 

when we were looking for a van we would go to a used car lot and someone would always come out and ask what we were looking for? i would say we wanted an Oldsmobile silhouette van. most of the time they would take us to a Chevy or a Pontiac. i would say that we only wanted an Oldsmobile. there comment would usually be "well they are all the same and also why would you want a oldsmobile when they quit making them." i would think to myself, they are not all the same and if they were then the fact that they quit making them would not matter anyway. my wife wants a final 500 silhouette now. i don't think that is going to happen any time soon.
