She did don the fighting belt
Fishes of my dreams
Just 4the hallibut
We had to eat slab steaks there
as float plane only allowed for $75pounds of fillets
left most behind for next wayward farers

Yes, it is. I have been here 9 years and I have never seen so many big Walleye caught there as this year. Seriously, other than Wayne, the guy that caught the 11 pound 12 oz Walleye, biggest I have ever seen, he caught a few others, my 10 pound 6 oz Walleye and maybe 6 to 10 in the 3 to 5+ pound range, my wife seriously caught 100+ in that size and probably 10 at least over 5 pounds, she caught a 6, 7.5, 7.75 and 9.5 pound Walleye. Plus she caught a pile at the Crooked outlet. She usually has terrible luck ice fishing, not this year.

You guys should soon be able to. We had idiots go through early on south of here. The cracks and booms are scary but we have nearly a foot and half of ice plus no driving with cars or trucks on our reservoir.

Lookin' back .... Don't mess with a woman wearing a "TAP-OUT shirt haha.
You have a cool and amazing wife that looks to be enjoying all that most men are into.
Put-r-ther, you got a good catch !! That in itself is the best female catch of all.
Cheers

I just wanted to say I've enjoyed following your thread. I took my wife fishing on the St. Louis River for our second date. She won't bait a hook or take a fish off. I didn't get to do any fishing on the date because she kept me so busy baiting her hook and taking her fish off. I think I knew then she was a keeper, and that was about 25 years ago. She still goes fishing with me and our boys all the time.
A few months after our second date I took her up to Rainy Lake for ice fishing and snowmobiling with some buddies. We didn't have a shelter, the fishing wasn't great, and it was bitter cold. She's never come ice fishing again (and I fish with a shelter and a heater now), but she has been out snowmobiling with us once since then so...
My wife and my boys always catch more fish than I do, but I'm always trying new lures and the biggest lures to catch big fish. If we're up north on a week long fishing trip and I only catch and release one or two big fish I'm happy. Quality over quantity for me.

Thanks. My wife was the same. She called me a sissy for barely touching fish, I just don't like my hands stinking for days. I actually was only one who caught last time.

She looks great and makes 70-80K a year. Great cook, baker especially. Her Sister is useless and uglier, my Wife takes after her Mom's side(Mennonite) and her Sister, her Dad's side. She is a character like her dad's Mom but looks nothing like that side of her family. Her Brother is a really good guy and a smart *** like her. This is her sense of humor.
Like her big blue *****😁

She does Jerr but here is the funny part. My wife and her brother too, are fun, hard working people. My wife makes 70 to 80,000 a year and spends nothing on herself other than her Challenger which is now paid for. Her sister is a selfish, lazy, controlling pos who hasn't worked in 20 years and will probably never work again. I have known her husband since grade 1, too nice of a guy. He makes 200,000 a year as a consultant on a drilling rig, she controls everything. I was shocked that he was allowed to buy a new truck. My wife just spends all her time fishing and she is dam good at it.

Those were 5 and 7 pounds and there was also a 3 plus pound Pike she caught. We have caught 41, 4 of them were mine. Some of her fish, she either didn't take pictures or didn't send them to me.

Here is the 3.25 pounder and all 3 in the sleigh.
This is all from our maybe 2 mile by 3/4 mile by 40 feet deep, actually usually 30 feet deep reservoir one mile from town. Most pass it by and Pike have only snuck in since 2013 from a glorified slough.

I think I need a miracle to catch biggest Pike this year, Catfish maybe a chance. I did catch the second biggest Walleye I ever saw come out of our reservoir last year, just barely edged out her 32" monster. Mine was only 30" but fat as hell.
