Is Diego the same person that posts on this website? If so, did not know he was a writer and researcher. Even though partial to Oldsmobile's, will look into the book, as I like to learn about all the different makes and models of muscle cars.

I was approached by the publisher, so I reckon now I'm a writer and researcher.

There's a lot of new stuff in the Olds chapter that I bet you haven't read about before:

- A Wisconsin student felt marketers were missing the boat targeting college students, so he formed his own agency, partnered with Oldsmobile's ad agency, and produced several ads published in college newspapers.
- Interview with Pete Kost of Smothers Brothers Racing Team fame.
- The Varooom Room (thanks, Fred Mandrick!)
- Plus two featured cars of CO member Jason Stritesky

Kevin, thanks for the kudos!

I'm indebted for featuring your car as well as some of the items from Fred M's collection.

Finally read the book and there are some things that crept into the book as published. I noticed one typo in a caption where W30 was written as "WSO". I've asked the publisher to fix it if it heads to the printer again. (But, yeah, there are some issues within that are mine to own as well.)

But I must admit that I'm a lot less critical of books I read now because sometimes things happen beyond the author's control.

Received my book earlier this week. I been reading a few pages each day. Interesting read so far. I am especially interested in the MOPAR chapters since I am an old MOPAR fan. Looking forward to reading about Olds and the other OEs too. Thanks for putting this book together.

I scored some neat Mopar items from Steve Juliano, who's the guy who owns several Mopar show cars:
