1964 Cutlass Tachometer?

Owner of a 64' Cutlass,automatic,column shift, and was curious if a tachometer was ever offered ,aftermarket it's looking like,for the clock delete area of my dash, more or less just wondering what guys are running for tachs with the automatic column shift in these 64-65's,any help is greatly appreciated! The only factory tach available for the 1964 model year was mounted on the console for floor shift models.

People have installed aftermarket tachs in their instrument clusters in the past. Just a bit of creativity is needed.

Unlike the later cars, the 1964-65 dashboards don't have round gauge pods. Installing aftermarket gauges required hacking your dash.

I missed that.

The clock opening is a small square area. It can be done, and there are small repro tachs for Novas and Chevelles that might be adapted. Shiftworks sells these and these also.
