Keep an eye on ebay, I woke up one day and there were 5 4gc's on ebay... I paid 9 bucks for mine.

Dave, I'm not sure what part you need. I've got a few 2 bbl carbs from 1968-72 Olds engines, I may have it if you help me identify it. John

Thanks for your message. My carb number is 7041156. I am looking for a choke pull off (mounts on the right rear of the carb). It is a simple diaphram with a single vac. elbow on the back side, a mounting bracket that is part of the whole assembly, and a single flat, slotted arm on the front side that hooks up with the linkage. Maybe you have a pic of this part ? I could get a pic but it might take a while. Thanks again. Dave

I got ya covered Dave, I'll photo the parts this weekend just to make sure I'm getting all the parts you need off the carb. John

Hi Dave, check my photobucket site to view photos. The choke parts would be $10 plus shipping or the whole carb. for $20 plus shipping from Medford Oregon. Let me know what you think, John

John (2blu442).....I really appreciate your willingness to help me out with my choke dilema. I checked out your pics and that is the part I`m talking about. I recently checked out a sponsor`s website, www.carbsonly.com and found an electric choke conversion kit and I will be opting for that solution. We have to support our sponsors right ? Again, thank you so much for trying to help me out. Dave
