95 Cutlass Supreme Conv. turn signal problem

Hello. THis is my first Olds and first posting on this webpage, any help is appreciated. I just bought the car and noticed that the turn signal is not working all the time. The headlights/taillights work, brake lights brighten when pedal pressed, headlight brights work when turn signal arm pulled. I noticed that when I test the hazzard lights is when the turn signal stopped working for both lf. and rt. turns. Additionally, this car's cruise control has not worked since I bought the car >1 month ago. I got out the book to find the fuses to check, but I don't think this is the problem since the turn signals have stopped and started working again (only to stop once I tried to test the hazzards). Does this sound like a turn switch that needs to be replaced? If so where is it located? THanks! Ryan

That may, or may not be a turn signal switch, I'm not sure. But I'm 99% sure that the switch is located in the column, connected to the turn signal arm. It is that way on my mother's 1993 chevy.

If you had brake pedal pushed while hazards are on the brake will cancel them. Keep them from flashing
