water entering the seating compartment

after heavy rainfalls, water keeps getting in and dripping where you rest your feet in the front. Don't know where to begin looking so I can neutralize this irritating problem...

okay

so I suspect this is a drainage problem - it may be clogged somewhere, but my problem is where on earth I should start lookin'

There's a rubber drain hose on the bottom of the A/C box on the engine side of the firewall. Frequently leaves and debris will get in though the cowl opening and eventually clog this drain. The water has noplace else to go but inside.

If the water is coming in on the passenger side, it is the AC box seal. You will have to remove the wipers, and lower stainless trim to get at it. I used a spray-on seal called "stop leak." Let us know if this works. Jim.
