I have a 1967 Olds 98 Convertible, Turn Signal Kit needed to be installed on Tilt and Telescoping Column.
Deoes the entire Steering Column have to come out ??

It all depends what's going wrong. The switch itself may be separate from the column. However, the return cam and that may be in the column. you'd be best to get a copy of the chassis service manual and have a look. Unfortunately I don't have one for a 67 Olds, only Buick, and that's probably different from Olds.
Either way you're probably going to have to pull the wheel and the horn switch to get at the cancelling cam. The electronics may either be there (they were in the post 69 models, not sure about the earlier ones) or they're located on a separate part of the column under the dash, controlled by a rod from the signal switch. You probably don't have to remove the column.

From the 1967 Oldsmobile shop manual ;
The steering column will have to be removed on floor shift models.
There are several special tools involved in this job . If you don't have them , turn the job over to someone that does .
It's very easy to f*** one of these up . Ask me how I know .
