After looking around on this site, I decided to join. I bought a 1983 Delta 88 a couple of months ago. It's a 2-door, no vinyl top, 307/OD tranny equipped car with Super Stock 3 wheels. Paint has a few small blemishes, but it's a nice cruiser, if nothing else. I will post a pictures as soon as I learn how.

Welcome to the group!
Posting a picture is easy. See that little yellow square with the mountains in the bottom and sun at the top right? Click that and it will allow you to insert pictures from your device (computer, laptop, phone). One thing about phone pictures though, some iphones tend to insert them upside down.

83 D88. Is it the Royale? 2 door or 4 door? I remember those cars as I had an 83 Ninety Eight Regency Brougham which is the big brother to the Delta series. Wonderful riding cars and actually not too bad on gas. The 200 4R trans for 83 though had a weak sun gear. Hopefully yours is ok.

Nice looking car! You may not realize but the centercaps aren't the right ones for that car/year. Still, finding OEM ones might be a Royale PITA.
Here's what the offering was in 83, just as an info item.

Those would be 15" wheels IIRC. They will fit the D88 series but not the 98. Don't ask how I know....

Welcome to the group... Sharp looking Delta... I like the fact that there is no vinyl top...

AllanR: My car is a Royale. I haven't had any problems with the tranny so far, but it only has 83,000 miles on it, so . . .
