My new convertible

Hi everyone,
I recently got this gem from my uncle. It has been in his garage for over 20 years. I have wanted a convertible for years. Eventually it will get a new paint job, but for now I plan to just get it going and enjoy it a little. (I have restored a mustang and 2 porsches and was unable to enjoy any of them.)
My son is home from the Marines for a little while, so hoping to get it running in a few weeks. I will keep you posted.
Bob

Nice '69! Did your uncle have the missing parts for it as well? That will be a nice car to put back together again. Enjoy!

It is basically a complete car, aside from the typical broke/missing stuff one would expect. He took it apart anticipating a complete restoration. He just never got around to it and wanted room in his garage. Now if life would just get out of my way so I can get started!

Show us more pics when you can. We like to see your car, inside and out! Enjoy the restoration process and drive it often!

It came with a delta 88 with a 455. The Th400 tranny from the 88 is long so I will use the TH350 that came with the 442 for now. None of the drive train in the 442 is original.
