Hi all! gr8 to find a forum on olds. FIrst post here - im rebuilding a 307 and marked each conrod before taking ti apart.. however it seems they were installed in 2 directions -
can anyone clarify what the correct way is? slant towards crank or other way round?
Here is what i mean:
is the shoulder of the conrod cap pointing in the right direction?
The rods have an oil "spithole" that spits oil at the cam. These holes should point towards the cam, so each journal will have rods facing in opposite directions.
