Let's see those dog dish's

Put em up. When I first bought my car I was sure I was going to put some large wheels on it now I know for sure I'm keeping my poverty caps. I just put on a fresh set and detailed them. Wheels are 15" and tires are Firestone FR380's (no longer available ) in 225-70-15

Here's a set of 64 F-85 original dog dish caps. I believe these are a one-year only?? Once I get the tires and stance I want, they will give the car "the sleeper look" There currently on 15x7 inch GM big car rims. I got the 425 emblems off a 67 Delmont 88 and had them re-chromed. Not too many of those around either.

I do not have any cleaned up but this is the "as found" look. Not cleaned since around 1974. 15 inch option for the f-85 lineup

I know , not an Olds .
But . I think "dog dish" caps and blackwalls make a statement .
As on this '62 Bel-Air 409 .

Back in the day Olds dogbowls AKA poverty caps were every bit as well-styled as the full wheel covers- sometimes better in my eyes. From 59-62 especially the dogbowls with trim rings were a very stylish wheel treatment and Olds seemed to wear this look better than most. The cars didn't look cheap with small caps like many cars did.
