Photobucket holding my photo's for ransom

Why does photobucket now display all the images I post in forums with just a link, something about a 3rd party hosting???
I cant even view most of the photos in threads on this forum
Has anyone had any luck fixing this.
Really frustrated and not too internet savvy..

Photobucket changed their policy and now wants folks to pay a $400 yearly fee to host pictures on third party forums. I discovered that FireFox has a plug-in that allows the "blocked" images to be displayed.

That's why I always advise people to NOT use Photobucket .
Post directly to the forum .

Just click on the "Insert Image" icon to browse your device for pics you want to attach. As far as I know that will allow the pics to remain indefinitely:

I went into photobucket and downloaded all my photo's to my pc and cancelled my account when they first started this bs.

Thanks for the info guys.
I too have taken all my pics back off photobucket onto my pc.

and thanks for the tip Olds64, I didnt know about that button either, will be using it from now on.

This is the only way I have ever posted photos on this site. So easy.
