New Years SALE

68-73 4 speed and automatic battery tubes. These are part numbers 400230 for 4 speed and 400233 for automatic. These are correct for cutlass and 442, but also big cars throughout these years (please check your application in the parts listing below to confirm). Price includes shipping to your door. I do have some new 4 speed cable brackets that. if you buy a 4 speed tube. I also have 2 used automatic brackets. if you buy an automatic tube. Thanks

anyone have picture of how these tubes are mounted on the block, and the orientation of the bracket? of all the pictures i have of my disassembly, i can not find how this bracket was mounted. if i put short side of the tube down, as it appears in the assembly manual, the long side of the tube sticks up above the valve cover, if is put the long side down, it pushes the starter wires into the pivot ball for the clutch linkage. thanks in advance,

There's different brackets/tubes for a big block / small block. Take a look at this most recent thread:

Assembly Manual

There also some pictures on the above thread of the bracket installed both incorrectly and correctly on a 455 4 speed.
