Can anyone provide a brand and part no for the air filter cartridge used in the 67 OAI shroud? The 40-something year old one I'm currently using is orange (Fram?) but the p/n has long since faded away. Went to my local A/Z and we tried one for 400/4 barrel but it is too big. They were unable to use measurements to get a cross reference on anything...say it is odd size and rather than spend all day opening boxes I said I bet I know someone on this site will know.
Thanks for any help!
Thanks Hairy, if I had a real w30 I would jump on that! I'm just doing a owner installed track pak using mostly repo parts for street so don't really need numbers matching. Getting the correct AC p/n for cross reference is a big help. I appreciate it.
Thanks, I have been told they are diamondback tires. They were on the car when purchased. I honestly can't remember the size. they are on the factory SSI's 14X6. I have those in storage, and have 15" SSII's on now. they ride much better.

Sounds like we are on the same track...I also am running 15" SSIIs with 225x70 Indys. I have a set of SSIs (currently have Sears 215x75 and the 15s ARE much better on the street) that I will be using for the redlines for cruise ins. I have been told that Diamondbacks are great tires. I live close to Summit's Ga location and can get Cokers from them.
I have to say that the BFG's ride much better than the redlines. They are a road king wide track tire with the sidewalls buffed clean and the redline attached. They ride very rough and harsh.
I bought a Coker Firestone F70 wide oval (bias) repo for the spare and am also considering the same for the SSIs just to be correct looking since I plan to run them minimum time. I read an article in Muscle Car Review comparing the old style bias with new radials for limited street and they said there wasn't much difference. Of course for interstate and higher speeds they say radial only. Hard decision. I'll probably end up going with Coker BFG red radials since I'm sure I will get tired of changing back and forth (ha).
a cross reference to GM 5645343 shows a NAPA filter # FIL 2081
Follow up on the air filter: The Fram CA136 is too tall for OAI. The NAPA is perfect. My local store was able to find one. Looks just like the AC. Wix #42081 is supposed to be the same but hard to find. Thanks for the leads!
Can someone post a side picture of the air filter inside the shroud with a top cover on and off? I am having an issue where the filter is too tall (½ inches to tall). I got the NAPA filter as stated in the thread. See pictures.
NAPA filter # FIL 2081
Outside Dia: 13inches
Inside Dia: 10 inches
Height: 2.75 inches

Thanks for the photos. It appears my filter is seating on the inside indentation for the carburetor instead of the outer rim. This is giving it extra height. I think I will need a 10 1/2 inch Inside Dia filter to make it sit flush.
I saw an AC A90CW on ebay for $250.00 a while back.. Needless to say they dont make em any more. I found a generic brand at a swap meet a few years ago that measured right and bought it for $2.00 for mine. Generic in a clear bag with no name or number. But the thing was short enough to fit in the shroud. I have also used furnace/AC filter material cut and put in the ends of the scoop ducts where hoses attach. Works great
I currently have a 13 3/4" x 11 1/2" x 3" filter in my air cleaner and it fits fine... I don't know the brand/manufacturer, but it is stamped "A74"...
With the 10" ID or even a 10 1/2" ID, I doubt the filter will sit flat on the bottom of the air cleaner... Once the filter actually sits flat, the 2 3/4 height may be too short...
