i Freedom Battery Topper

Hello, a Freedom Battery Topper is underway, Freedom, Freedom II and the later Black Top Freedom Topper and Decals will be avail soon. Some have found me through searches, if you Google Freedom you can find me easy. I'm a Firebird guy, but these battery's cross over into a lot of cars, the black top Freedom is being made from a 1995 Iroc owners Info. The 2 prior Freeddom battery's have a Dk blue top. We have purpt a lot of hours into this and the research of these battery's, I have my Freedom II from my 1978
If the Mgt leaves this post up post here, I will add pics of the 3 and future dates on avail. A Corvette site took down my thread and were down rite pretty rude, that just hurts the members looking for this missing detail. Any suggestions as part numbers for the decals would be helpful to do the Old variety. There's a thread on unitedfbody.com if your looking for info on these battery's.

We don't have a finished product yet, should be 1-2 months, some may have seen my "caps" that started the whole project, the green eye looks so real, at the firebird Natz, people thought one guy had a nos battery in his car, at cars and Coffee up on Woodward one guy asked me the same thing, I'll post pics of what it will look like, I have the old style caps in my car, you simply paint a battery white, off white looks closer to the opaque white I think, a flat top battery works, place on top, done.
Does photobucket work here?

The number rite now on the F body battery is 89-60. I'm looking to buy a Delco battery manual to have all the numbers.

Here's a freedom 2 old style kit, decals have been corrected also. This is a Superstart with my old caps on, not a real freedom, pretty nice?

From our research, freedom was used through 1979-1980 it looks like, freedom II through the 80's sometime, then a black top version with diff decals was used, 3rd gen let's say, a 1995 IROC owner verified the 3 Rd gen type for that year. There is also a freedom warranty car for in the glove box lit, I pick these up when I see them. I have a list of people that want these, lol.

If anyone here has a timeline for the 3rd gen type, that would b helpful. I'm in the process of buying an empty display battery for the decals.

Hey thanks, I recently put the color striped vac lines on, Ames makes nice ones, inline tube Dora as well but the Ames ones are nicer.
Will do on the topper, a Cutlass guy in Fla found me and wants one for his car. It's the missing detail. I'll tel him I'm on this site.

A friend that bought the CNC’d caps from me few years ago, has bought a topper for his bird, his 2 caps are for sale, John is from Pennsylvania, they come already painted the correct blue and with freedom decals, this is the last set of these caps that will be avail, $50 shipped to,the conus. Complete with 2 pc eye, see above post for reference of these caps I made. They would work on smaller type battery also, pictured is on a 78 series. John is a member over on my F body forum, great guy.

I just got mine last week, thank Burd and Merry Christmas!

This topper instantly transformed what was once a giant green glob of an Interstate top to a factory looking engine bay. Looking forward to getting some scuffs and scratches on it so it looks like the driver condition engine bay that it is.

The inside dimensions of the topper are L = 10 1/2 and the W = 7 1/4.
