Got these Iron NOS bare Battens last year and decided to have them shake and baked to get the rust off. Nothing like a good old thick coat of Cosmoline to store them without worrying about more rust!

Nice score. It's very hard to find those that have not been destroyed by generations of rodders.

 

I have a set of NOS Stage 3 Battens in bare unused form as well! It's good stuff!

Yeah I'm pretty happy with how they turned out! Not sure what I'll use them on but st least I got them!
