Wanting to post build as I go

[QUOTE=Eddie Hansen;772168] I would also consider just replacing what needs to be replaced unless the whole floor is swiss cheese. /QUOTE]
Looking at your pics I will say it looks pretty crusty, and thinking back to when I stripped my underside, it might also be an idea to get a 1 piece floor? just thinking out loud, it may look worse then it is, until you get a wire wheel/ sand blaster in there and give it a good look.

Oh no mine is Swiss cheese even has pin holes in tunnel. But if you look through pics the bluish floor pan sitting on a trailer is good just couple small spots in it I cut it out of donor so would be original steel from firewall to trunk but gonna install in 2 peices. Sine part on mine that is good is under rear seat area from fender well to fender well. Not cutting that part out to cut down on any possible flex. Do main floor and then trunk. Thanks have a blessed day.

If cold weather will leave
Well once spring gets here getting back to spot weld drilling on floor pan bought from seller here on forum. Gonna get donor floor pan prepped and ready before cutting ones out of my 68. Plan on getting back to it in week or so if weather will cooperate.

Deck lid toast
Made decent patch panel but when welding in seam on lip started splitting rust just weakened too much so couldn't save it. Was worth a try. I don't like replacement parts so will be looking for one off donor car. Be a while before I need it. But if run across good deal prob go ahead and get one if have funds at that time. At this point just doing what I can with what I have just glad don't have to pay anyone to work on it for me so there is major blessing right there. Floor and trunk pan will be next since I have that. Engine is what working on funds for now
