67 442 post car

I found a rust free 442 but no tags or or title. Wyo car and the underneath is amazing. Has a tach dash. It would be awesome for racing. So I would like to see it saved rather than parting out. Does anyone know of a racer looking for something like this? I'm in Minneapolis.

I'll post pics if there is interest. Thanks.

Layne

I know you weren't looking for a project car Wes. But if you could get this one at a good price it might be worth taking on!

Layne, at least in my state its possible to get a title on a car that's been off the road a long time. A little more paperwork and effort then a normal title transfer. But if this car is real clean it could be saved as a driver, not just something to race.

Thanks for the responses. I got it home recently and put on Craigslist last week. Most everyone wants parts rather than the whole car. What a shame. $2500 is my minimum before I part it. I figure if I part it out I can get close to $4500. If I cut the rust free qtrs off it, probably get close to $5000. My heart says take time and sell to a good home. My back pocket says "part it out!"

Imagine finding a car with a battery tray in it that is near mint. That gives you an idea of how good it is. Jeesh.

I would have responded sooner to you guys but I was never notified of any responses to the thread like on the Performance Years forum (Pontiac).

You and I spoke some about that car a month of so ago. I checked out your pictures and just so you know. The tach in that did not come in that car. Olds did not do one like that in a 67.
