We have arrangements for the race cars, and others, to enter and leave the inside show field. Not liking 100 degrees and 100% humidity, and at least a 50% chance of rain every day, the indoors venue may be real nice. It will also help with my sunburn, lol.

 

Like I said over on ROP, we will probably make the 4 hour tow to race.

 

I wish my tow from Vegas were so short, lol!

 

I just found out that the Hurst Hairy Olds will be at the OCA Nationals show!

Am planning on makin it!! But dont know which motor i will have in it. If good motor isnt done then it will come with the bone-stock one!!

So how did the racing go?

 

Well, the racing was alot of fun. The racing community within oca has some great guys. The pro guys let us rookies join them for a night of excitement. Everyone at the eddyville track and oca racers were very helpful and understanding with the ones of us that were there for fun. I didn't win a prize but i had alot of fun and started a long learning process for drag racing. I ran my stock 1970 442 thru test and tune and a gamblers race and the oca elimination. last 2 passes my car started vapor locking (100 deg plus) and i got beat by an olds achieva. Still had fun, you win some and lose some.
