Neutral Balance Harmonic Balancer

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a build for my 1966 Olds 425 engine. I have the block and rotating assembly at the shop now getting machined and balanced and we can hit neutral balance. I need to find a neutral balance harmonic balancer so if anyone has any knowledge or options let me know

Thanks
Mike

Scat 8022 or 9022. Both have removable weights.

I have an ATI, but be careful because they're available with Ch*vy and Olds (4&3 bolt) pulley patterns.

What about this balancer? It's SFI approved.

ATI is the best you can buy. You can even get them with the magnets in the shell for a crank trigger.

ATI is good but they run close to $500. While the Professional Products SFI approved one is $220.

You get what you pay for and you don't get what you don't pay for...

There has been guys who have had problems with professional products sfi balancers. Now I am not mudding the waters I have used three no problems. But I also am not spinning past 6,000 RPM. I did buy a quality neutral balancer from TCI for my next build in the wings. Will I buy the PP balancer again no!!

Everything Professional Products makes is a copy of some other companies product. They are reverse engineered parts made is Chinese shops who dont give a f**k if you motor self destructs, and you end up with a hole in you radiator or hood.
Hell, the intakes they made for Olds wouldnt even line up correctly, and needed machine work to be usable.
