Dyno Testing Anniversary and Intake Manifolds

Today is the one year anniversary of our first dyno pull! To celebrate Ron and I made 603 HP last night! It has been a journey. A fun experience, but certainly a journey. No regrets (maybe Dale (just kidding Dale)). Certainly learned a LOT doing all of this and expect to learn more.

For the member that was interested in a scan of the cross ram for wall art, Matt said no problem. He says his scanner at home is better than the one they have here, so he will take it home once it arrives and scan it. They do have a 3D printer here, but he said if they printed it here it would probably in several pieces as the bed isn't big enough for a one piece "Printing". I'll probably have him scan the CanAm manifold as well. If you are interested in the file/s send me an e-mail at jerry@tandjw.com. It will be a solid 4-6 weeks until Matt gets around to this. The intake won't be here until about 12/15, and I it probably won't get into Matts hands until 12/22 when I'm back here. So not much will start until that point. Not sure how much of Matts time we can consume but we will have the tunnel ram here if you are interested in wall art for that as well. Matt is new at Livernois, but seems like a pretty good guy.

Happy Anniversary....

jerry

For those who are curious, the "CanAm manifold" Jerry is referring to is this one.

Joe, are those manifolds set up for Weber 48 IDAs? bolt pattern looks similar, we use the 48s (only 2 though!) on air cooled VW engines for racing.

I don't know enough about Weber carbs to know, but this intake was used first with Webers then with injector throttle bodies that mimiced the Weber interface on the CroSal CanAm cars. If Jerry can scare up a set of appropriate Weber carbs, he'll run this intake also.
