I saw Sam this past Sept.

Pleasant, talkative and getting it done on the track at all the same weekend!

LS3 Intake to RR/Wenzler Head Adapter

Any update on this project. I for one would love to purchase a set of adapters to enable the use of a LS3 style intake on my 468 BBO. That would open up this platform to multiple Intake options. I have asked John at RR about the possibility of providing LS Adapter / Spacers for his Wenzler Heads, but he is showing no interest.

Which makes it all the more fun for us when an unexpected update appears

I guess i will be negative nancy!I am going out on a limb to say this isn't going to happen. It has been a year!! I really thought that this was a cool project. The guy doing this i doubt is worried about us wanting to see it finished. I think us olds guys are off in the head always hoping for the next best thing!! What happens is a fizzle and flops nothing but waiting while other brands get it done. I think i will go outside today and kick myself square in the azz like jackazz the movie!

There are times when life gets in the way of projects. We all have priorities, and things do get placed on the back burner. IMHO, if this is so important to you, why not go to the wrecking yard pick up a manifold and a core engine. One can easily pick this project up and continue on their own.

Its a BBO, I would assume that if one is going to do it with an SBO, the spacers would be thinner.

Is there any updates on the progress of adapting the LS intake? Has anyone else done any work on a project like it?

Sorry there is nothing to report on my end. I have not spoken to my friend in over a year but I am pretty sure if the project was complete I would have heard something.
