65 Jetstar Engine Swap

Hello all I’m planning on dropping a 455 into this 65 Jetstar 88 and I think I’m gonna need a couple pointers to do so. I just dropped the block off at the machine shop for hone, mag etc and I’ve been eyeing these headers on eBay. Does anyone know if there are any clearance issues here??

eBay headers

It says they’re for early the early cutlass so I don’t think I’ll have any issues but I could be wrong, ohh and any pointers on the engine I’ll be running recently machined GA heads

As the Jetstar 88 is essentially a B-body with A-body running gear, you're going to need a whole host of brake and suspension upgrades to support that 455. Might be more economically viable to leave that one alone and start with something that was BBO-equipped from the factory.

Thank you for the input and I appreciate your mentioning this. I am aware that this particular model was not originally meant for hot rodding. With that being said I am willing to make the necessary adjustments where necessary rather than going out to try an find a Jetstar I. In similar condition for relatively cheap.

On that note

That reminds me I’m gonna need to source some axles preferably 5 on 5 pattern front and rear if anyone knows anyone near Washington state with anything like this and/or related items I would be grateful
