67 cutlass center counsel and buckets

Looking for center and buckets for my 67 cutlass s. I have the strato bench and looking to convert. I might need other parts in a few weeks, going to start stripping it down this weekend. Located in mason city iowa.

I always keep a lawyer in my car, too, but usually in the back seat, not the center. I like to have him around, but I don't like to talk to him. You never know, though, when you'll need a legal opinion!

center console

Also, I don't think there was a Cutlass S in 1967. I think '68 was the first year for the S. '67 was the first year for the Cutlass Supreme.

They did make a Cutlass S in 67.

That's interesting, because it's not mentioned in the production statistics in Setting the Pace, it's not mentioned in the '67 Oldsmobile brochure, and it's not mentioned in the '67 Oldsmobile Dealer Specs Book.

Not to get off subject but there was a Cutlass, F85 and Cutlass Supreme in 67, maybe some people think the S stands for Supreme and thus use Cutlass S to refer to a Supreme.

You had me at strato bench. The "S"
has always stood for "Sport" The
"Supreme" moniker has never been
shortened. 1968 was the first year
of the Cutlass "S" (Sport).

I was going by memory what the bench seat with the arm rest was called. I know it's a cutlass supreme holiday coupe but the s seemed easier plus I didn't know if a person could say s for supreme. I'm new at all this so I will learn. We are stripping the car down this weekend so my parts list will probably grow. Thanks for the replies.

A person can certainly say it all they want as there are no laws against it, but is it a good idea? Beginning in 1968, there was a Cutlass S along with the Cutlass and Cutlass Supreme, so saying "S" as a shorthand when you mean Supreme? Your call. If it were me, I would call the car by the name it had when it left the factory.

The "S" stands for "S". It's a marketing name, with no other connotations. Nowhere in any factory literature does it refer to the "S" as "sport" or anything else.
