1964 Jetstar 1 thermostat housing.

This is all I need to get my olds back up and running and I cant find jack online. I have yet to find any junkyards with something even close. If anybody has one or could point me in the right direction of one for a reasonable price I would be forever grateful.

I should have an extra one around here somewhere. $20 plus the shipping.

59-64 394 4-barrel carb engines are the same. 394 two-barrel carb and 215/330 are different. Factory piece is slush-cast aluminum, aftermarkets were cast iron.

That makes sense. The car is a "61 dynamic 88, originally with a 2-bbl. I replaced the manifold because I found there was good size hole in the bottom of it that the prior owner tried to seal with JB Weld, ha. The part number for the new 4-bbl I put on is 382856 and from what I've found its from a '64 jetstar 1. I've looked for thermostat housings for the '64, but every time I get housings with heater bypass ports, which the manifold wouldn't fit. Its just one big port. The distance from the center of each bolt hole is 10cm if that helps and here's a picture. It's a bit of a mess and this isnt the best pucture, but I'm not done just yet! https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...119f4c03de7b02

Here's a couple of pics. Little bit of pitting on end where hose goes on and some slight pitting on gasket surface.

It's beautiful. If you're willing to part with it I'm willing to pay for it.
