I just installed a pair of chrome hood hinges on my 75 hurst olds that I just got back from the chrome plater and now they don't work properly. I believe these were used on the car at one point prior to me owing it but now seem impossible to use.

What I mean by that is that the hinges bind really really bad and the hood won't close. I tried greasing them up and working em a bit but the binding is really really bad. I want to buy another pair of hood hinges & springs until I figure out my issue with these chromed plated ones.

If anyone has a good pair of hood hinges & springs let me know or if you have any input or info on the chrome plating hinge issue I have let me know.

I definitely will shoot you some pics of my ride as soon as it get together after painted. Should be getting sprayed next week so I'm on the home stretch now after 10 F'n years!!
