I need a left grille for my '78 Salon.Standard model,not Brougham.Will buy a pair if needed.Don't need perfect,just unbroken.Also,some had amber parking lamps.Would like a pair of those too.Thank you

 

I think the Salon and the Calais grills are the same.

 

Nope, not even close. Not even close to the same body style either. only thing really in common is the suspension, drivelines, and dash. I owned a 78 Calais - it was powered by a Chev 305 4bbl right out of the factory.

I found someone with a '78 Salon Brougham,that has standard grilles,that will trade me.Does anyone have '78 Salon Brougham grilles??? Also would "like" the amber front turn signal lenses,that seemed to be on a few '79's. Thank you!

 

I might have what you're looking for. I have 2 sets of grilles for the Cutlass Salon but I can't remember if they were from the base model or the Brougham. One pair was from a 442 and is "blacked out" by the factory. Both pairs I have show the same part numbers on the front lower undersides- 557528 RH, and 557529 LH. Pull yours out to see what part numbers are. I can probably get you a picture or two if you're interested.
