Lectron made a dealer option (Flat) electric power trunk release. I am looking for one that I can slide into a 68 442 trunk lid in good working order at a reasonable price. See picture (don't need botton or wires)

Pretty sure the 68-69 were vacuum powered, the 70 and later were electric. However, I installed a electric style on my 69 latch with no troubles.
