'70-'72 Rally Pack Temp/Oil/Fuel Pod

Hello.

Need the left pod of the '70-'72 Rally Pack that contains the Fuel, Oil, and Temperature gauges. Do not need the right pod containing the Tachometer/Clock.

Thank you,
Anthony

I have one. PM me. I'll put it the car Saturday to make sure it's working.

Rather not break up a full set of Rally Pac gauges just for the Fuel/Temp/Oil pod. Hopefully, someone will have just the gauge cluster pod they want to sell.

Thank you,
Anthony

Hello timothypaul,

When you get the opportunity, please let me know the status of the gauge cluster after you check it.

Thanks,
Anthony

Strange how the Rally Pac's tach/clock pod is more abundant than the temp/oil/fuel cluster pod - possibly due to the tach/clock pod mistakenly only being removed before a car being processed & junked, and not the gauge cluster pod?

They are also more abundant because some removed the tach and replaced it with an accurate after market tach. All of the OEM tachs read higher rpm than actual. They were calibrated that way in an attempt by Olds to keep engine rpm down and reduce warranty work on engines.

Hi Dave.

Very interesting, never thought of that reason, which would also contribute in making the factory tach/clock of the factory Rally Pac set more abundant.

Thanks,
Anthony

We just missed one the other day on here. I was about an hour late. I was going to tell them sold for you and if you didn't take it I would have. Maybe next time...

Is that the Rally Pac gauge "oldsmobilty" was selling on Christmas Eve?

I had actually agreed to purchase the gauge before the posting - when oldsmobilty sent me a PM that he had a Rally Pac gauge available. We agreed on a price and payment date of 12/24, which was paid on that day via PayPal. The payment was refunded on that same day after the gauge was posted on the For Sale site and stickw31 paid a higher price for it.

Thanks Eric for looking out for one for me. Much appreciated.

Seller did respond on his posting why he sold it to someone else, even though he had contacted me about the gauge and I had paid him the $150 he was asking for it.

Oh well, it was his Rally Pac gauge and he could do whatever he wanted with it. I'll just have to keep looking for that elusive gauge. I did appreciate him contacting me about the gauge I've been looking for.

Ralley Pack

I have two sets but don't want to seperate them. One set has working gauges and tach but not the clock. The other set has a working tach and not the clock, but there is a short somewhere in the gauge pod and it blows the fuse. PM if interested.

anthonyp,
I would be interested in the broken tach if it would help you complete the deal to final get the gauge you need. I actually only have the fuel/oil/temp gauge. PM sent to both.
