I was wondering how many of these Parts wanted posts are still good, shouldnt the posts be removed if parts have been found??

 

I raised a similar point about help wanted to diagnose/fix problems posts, one more post to say "found it" or "fixed it" won't hurt.
Maybe a sticky asking us to do this might help?.

I agree that the OP's ought to note either a problem corrected post or an item no longer available post.

 

Yes, this would be nice, but how would this be enforced? The person who wanted the parts would have to take the time to come on here and remove their posting. There is no way to force anyone to do that. It's just an honor-system type thing.

 

I agree the posts cannot be removed plus there is some historical value to some. The honor system would be the only way.
