Alternator brackets

Hello all,
I've removed my A/C and I would like to move the alternator to the other (right) side of the engine to balance the look. does anyone have a set of non-A/C brackets for this? Also a fan spacer block so I can remove the fan clutch. It's a 350. I'm in NH 03045

Thanks
Dave

Those spacer blocks used to be available at the parts stores everywhere, have you checked? I used to have one that was on a flex fan someone added to an engine in a car I bought once, might still be around.

Auto parts store aroud 7 to 9 dollars. If you can't find one let me know I have one lying around just took it off my 65 and added an electric fan.

Thanks. I'll take a look at the parts store.
Does anyone have some brackets though?

Keep the fan clutch for better cooling, less noise, less HP drag. Any Olds V8 from 1965 on, in the junkyard, is a candidate for the brackets.

OK,
i have called every junk yard in the phone book,(17 of them) no one has the brackets, they all say the same thing..."can't help you, we don't have cars that old, with the cost of scrap we get more to crush them"
I'm starting the Mass. phone book next...

There will be 3 parts, and big or small block are the same: a V shaped piece with a slot for adjusting the alt; it has an arm going to the intake mfd. A tube going from the V piece to the block near the oil filler--it bolts to either of 2 holes in the v top piece depending whether big or small block; third is a cast iron piece that bolts to the front of the head with 3 bolts and holds the bottom of the alt.
