Have you checked with Tachman? http://www.tachman.com/index.htm
Don't know if they do 74 but wouldn't hurt to call and ask.

That's the first one I've ever seen. Where does it bolt to in the car?

Is this a factory installed tach or an aftermarket produced by Hurst for the 83/84 HO's? I got really used to the digital tach that was in my 95 Regency Elite, but that was part of the electronic display dash. It was also extremely accurate and measured to the 10's, not just hundreds. Very helpful when I was diagnosing engine idle problems and verifying the reset on the IAC.

I believe it was Hurst specific, ive never seen it on anything but a H/O...and i think its 73 to 77....ive never seen it on a later car, and im not sure how early, the last one i saw was a 75 H/O

Im sure if ya wanted one you could buy it over the counter, it was a factory option.

OldsOld, I would buy yours if you want to sell. The one on Ebay is way overpriced. My 74 HO came with one the black casing is mint but the components inside need to be repaired. So if you or anyone wants to sell, please let me know.
