Looking for power window switches for my '67 Delta. Mounted on door panel, not armrest. I am interested in single switches, as well as a drivers multi switch. Please let me know what you have. Thanks!

 

Do you have a picture of what you need? I am wondering if the Cutlass styles would be the same. If so, 2blu442 will have some. They are reproduced also.
I have only two of the lock switches...

 

Yeah Rob, I will have to get a pic. I was checking eBay, but they aren't cheap! I would pay for a working switch, but they all say not tested. RockAuto didn't have. I'll get in touch with John.

 

I think 1967 was the first year of the rounded corners, used until 1970. I do have some switches but most came out of non-running cars. Rob is a wizard at cleaning/repairing these. If you've got the time to have him go through a set that would assure you've got good ones to use. I'll try to get some photos of the ones I think you need, then you can tell me if they look right or not. I'm thinking the drivers door would be a 4 switch unit, the other door and back seat would have singles, correct? Do you need them all?

Yes, they look to be the same. I guess now is not the time to cheap out. I've thrown so much money at this car since I bought it, but in the end, it will be worth it as it is a pretty nice car. Thanks for the link, I might take a look at the ones I have using your thread first, then decide to take the plunge! By the way, John sent me the same pic that you did! You guys are good!

 

One nice thing about these is that they are SIMPLE to replace, even when the car is all back together. So as long as the switch looks nice and you can get it working, then use it! Easy to replace later if needed - just pop it out with a screwdriver and unplug the wiring.
That 4 gang switch i cleaned up in that rebuild thread is still working fine in Lady. I have a NOS one as a backup, too.

John and Rob....put a hold on those switches! I just did a switch that wasn't working(the reason I decided to look for switches), with guidance from Rob's switch cleaning thread, and wouldn't you know, it worked! I sanded the contacts, brass brushed everything else, but cheated by foregoing the soap and water bath, opting to use Electra-Motive cleaner as it is faster(but not free), polished up the chrome switch with Never Dull, put back together and the rest is history! Thanks again Robert! John, as usual, I know you could have come through with parts if needed!. Now to do the rest....hopefully with the same results!

I just restored some 68-70 lock switches yesterday and they turned out well also.
I found the best thing to use on the contacts is a tiny ball-tipped diamond grinder, since the contacts are rounded. I also put a small dab of silicone grease on the plastic actuator fingers where they rub on the copper strip.
