I am looking for a nice piece of trunk molding for my 66 442. The one on my car has lots of big pits.......... looks terrible.

They are rare and therefore expensive. No one repops them. I sent my spare to Fusick and he decided it would cost too much to repop a cast piece that long.

Is there a difference between the 66 and 67?

 

They will interchange but the 66 442 has a unique style.

And that unique style is......... I have some with a textured back painted black and some left silver. I have one that has a smooth back thats painted black but that one is rotted very bad. My 67 f85 just has a one inch chrome strip.

 

66 cutlass had O|L|D|S|M|O|B|I|L|E cast into it spread all the way across w/ breaks inbetween each letter.

66 442 had OLDSMOBILE cast into the center w/ a textured background, w/ raised bars at the top and bottom.
