Hood Hinges 72 Cutlass

Looking for a pair of hood hinges for fiberglass hood. They tell me there is a difference in tension between metal and fiberglass hoods.
Thanks
Steve

NO.The hood hinges are the same. The springs are what needs changed. You need a lighter tension spring, due to the lighter weight hood. The problem is that most of the springs offered, are for Chevelle hoods, and are not the correct tension, and will not hold the hood up.I have bought a few pairs of springs from The Parts Place, and all of them have worked great so far.

I have an extra pair of F-glass hood light weight springs. PM me if you are interested. They have never been installed. I have a habit of obtaining spares.
