throttle cable bracket

throttle cable bracket

Looking for a throttle cable bracket for a 72 cutlass with a Q-jet. It mounts to the two rear bolts for the carb. thanks Chad

I have the ones with the provision for the kick down and throttle cables. They're on the left side bottom of the pic.

Hey,that braket should'nt be hard to find.Depends on your trans,TH350 has a kickdown cable ,TH400 uses an elec. switch mounted under the dash[petals]Q-JETS were used on alot of olds cars.Probably could use a TH350 braket on a th400 too.Just have a friend help to assure your getting WOT.Good luck,BO

The kickdown cable is hooked to the throttle pedal under the dash.. car has a TH-350 so one from a th-400 equipped car would be fine as well. I'm using an old school edelbrock maniflod to convert to 4bbl and would like to find the bracket with just the single cable if possible. thanks for the replies Chad

Hey,Thats a clean iooking car you have there,nice.There are differnt thottle brackets for the two transmissions.Call summit racings tech line,they can help you.Thats not a high dollar part.Good luck,BO
