Yukon makes a posi unit for the Olds 12 bolt 8.5 and gear sets are available just an FYI.

 

If I’m reading the OP’s post right he’s looking for a 1986 442 8.5” 10 bolt rear axle.

I looked them up when I was looking for an axle recently, they were easy to deal with.

 

If you're looking for strength over originality, the bolt in 9" stuff is the way to go. Much easier than finding a G-body 8.5. They are reasonable in price too, and can be cheap if you're willing to get parts from the salvage yard.
