In August I purchased a '69 98 Holiday Coupe. Original car with 15k. Not a lot of parts available which I figured. Looking for the Ninety Eight script for the Rt side fender. Beauty of a car but this is bugging me. Ideas?

 

Nice car, I have the 69 98 convertible. I found an NOS one on E-Bay for my car, LH and RH are the same on this.

Personally, I would ramp up a search for NOS. It would help if a member with a 69 parts book will post the number. It may be called an emblem or an ornament in the parts books.

 

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. I worked for my uncle's Olds dealership from 85 thru 02 when GM closed him down. I wish I was smart enough to have grabbed those catalogs and microfiche. Always had a thing for the B and C body 2 doors.

 

Nice used not pitted up fender scripts. Looks like the speed nuts weren’t used but there is paint overspray on these. $100 for the pair. 618-554-4362

 

I have some ninety eight scripts in my stash, some used - some new from the era, but I can't distinguish a '69 from a '70-'71. Would need photo and or part number.

 

Part numbers are 230446/7

 

Both parts are in my stash (230446 and 230447). I have three of the "Eight''s and one "Ninety". All are new in box NOS. Have many chrome bits & trim for inside and out, most new. $125 for a set these scripts.
