Mike, so you're wanting a factory switch pitch? I have a few. Thanks, Bob.

Yes, it has to be a switch pitch convertor. If you have one let me know a price with shipping to 35116.

67 400 Turbo Torque Convertor Only

Mike, I'm out. I thought that I had one that wasn't with a tranny, but I only have '68 and up spare convertors. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Do you have one, or looking for a replacement? There are places that can cut open, clean and repair converters, but obviously only if you have a core.

He needs a convertor because his builder didn't know the difference between the switch pitch unit and sent it in for a regular 400 convertor.

I was certain Dacco still listed these, SP TH-400 and smaller 2-spd Jetaway units, which can interchange if you want a bit more flash stall speed. Still available as one example through CO site sponsor CarID.

$100 core not the end of the world. Dacco has a long history of good products. Looks like a great 2025 price.

The ST300 12" switch pitch converter will work in place of stock switch pitch 13" for TH400 but will have higher stall. I have a 12" in my OG-67, 442 TH400 switch pitch and I like it, but it has 3:90's so I wanted more stall for performance. Not really a practical car for highway driving for long. The ST300 12" converters are hard to find I learned from experience. The 13" doesn't exactly grow on trees either. I do have a rebuilt 13" but I wasn't planning on parting with it. Just thought I would chime in in case you didn't know, as I have been down this road.

are u sure? Because the hotrodders back in the day used v6 buick switch pitch out of a 300 super turbine because it stalled higher..A Lot higher..and as far as buicks are concerned they all interchange. V6 300st and 400 st..65 and 66 gs have a higher stall too..im no expert but have been doing these swaps for decades
easy stuff to fi d if you look for it in the buick genere
