I'm looking for a Rust Free, 1970 Cutlass, Drivers Side fender.

I have a post already listed, but I mistakenly titled it as looking for a "Passenger Side Fender",......... can't seem to edit it to correct the title, so I added this thread to fix.

New guy asking you to contact him off site. Sounds iffy to me. Be cautious.

I do have some 1970 fenders but doubt anything is rust free. Possibly no rust through the heel, but would need some rust treatment behind the support.

caveat emptor here's the rust-free fender I got from the user above.

 

For the record, Tim inspected the fender in question in person, he was satisfied with the condition and price, then he made the purchase and went on his way. If he was not satisfied with it, then I guess he should not have purchased it, period.

 

Still looking for the fender,............will be attending the Homecoming in Lansing, so could pick up at the event.

Shipping from Oregon might be a killer. But here's a couple photos of what I have. The green one is on a 1970 F85 parts car. I haven't removed the fender yet but from the outside I don't see any holes. The Vista Cruiser fender would need trim holes plugged, but the rust on the backside looks pretty mild. I think it could be cleaned up without too much work. Not exactly what you were asking for but if you strike out elsewhere either one of these would be available.

If I had that 1st fender and saw your ad I would not have even reached out to you. There was nothing rust free about that, just saying.

 

LOGISTICS plays a huge part in decision making. Moving the darn thing. Shipped out a '70 fender, just before the Bus ceased third party freight. It was known as "GPX" or greyhound package express. Common carriers are now routinely charging 3X to 5X times what the bus, did, for these items. Suspect the fender that was sent out, would be a $500 ish item, on a vendors' tarp at Carlisle, Norwalk, Iola, etc. They got a good deal.

 

As we come up on the 2025 Olds Homecoming in Lansing, I thought that I'd renew my post looking for a nice rust free driver side 1970 front fender.

I will also be attending the OCA Nat's, so if you have what I'm looking for, and will be attending either of these events, please let me know.
