'69 hood hinges (3 connection points to the fender) are different than '68 (two connection points to the fender). As I recall, the '68 hood hinge is unique to that year only.

Randy you are correct. However, if the fenders were ever replaced due to accident, etc, they may be OEM parts channel replacements and have all the mounting points for BOTH '68 & '69 hinges. Be sure and check, OP may be able to use the '69s. (And that will save your noggin from the low-hanging hood latch on the '68 hood! )
Maybe these pics will help, both these fenders are punched with five(5) hole locations on the hinge land or raised section. But the 68 only uses the two(2) holes that are at the 2 & 11 locations in line, and the 69 uses three (3) Looking closely at the locations on each even though all 5 are punched the factory only welded the mounting nuts in the specific location for that year.hope these help
