Looking for complete accelerator cable bracket from Olds 260 or 307. Did not retain from my 260 and now needed for 455. Need the bolts, too. Spring would be nice!

 

would one from a 79 cutlass with a 260 work?

 

Got a photo? I’ve got 2 mid 80s Cutlass 307s to get rid of soon and could pull off parts.

 

Hey, thank you. I don't have a photo, but was told that they should work. Should be held on by the rear two quadrajet bolts/nuts.

 

The 260 one I have bolted to the intake and I checked it won't mount to a quadrajet unless you modify it. I believe you will want a 307 with a quadrajet to get the bracket from.
I have another one but it has no provision for a transmission cable.

I'm running a th400, so I don't need a detent cable. Is the bracket in the background of your photo the one?

I swung by the warehouse and not sure if the bracket you need is there. Here are pics over the top. Let me know if u see it.
